Looking at replacing my E2200, which is a pretty poor overclocker (doesn't hit 3.0ghz until you flood it with volts)

Possibly a q6600 is on the cards, given the prices they're selling for these days... And they're notoriety for running oc'd on stock volts.

Question is, will it run ok with my current setup?

tis the 400w psu i was worried about, its got a strong 12v rail though... happily powers my 8800 and the e2200 when it actually overclocks.

Well, you won't know until you try mate, I think you'll get away with 400W, especially as your 8800 is stock so give it a whirl, if you get problems, just upgrade PSU, it'll certainly run the Q6600 stock anyway...

Cheers
