q6600

grrrr, i woke up this morning and prime was still blending at 3.6ghz 1.3volts all sweet!

but then i started doing other things before switching prime off and my comp screen froze, now when i boot it up, nothing comes on the monitor

theres power and everything to the board etc

but 2 issues i noticed, the back of my 4870 theres 2 red lights constant lit up and the fans sometimes starts at 100% on the card and the keyboard dosent boot the num lock button

what have i killed?

currently at work now :(

.s i left the cmos battery out of the mobo for 30mins to reset cmos and that didnt help either fix it either

Check all your components are properly seated and the relevant power leads firmly connected!

D1602 - Red LED On, shows External power connector A was removed

D1603 - Red LED On, shows External power connector B was removed

D601 - Red LED On, shows critical Core power fault

OC have offered me a RMA for my graphics card, but i need another card to check 100% its that card before doing so, should know by 2moro

Sorry to hear this, hope all works out nice and easily!

Edit: With my graphics card (4870) i had to use 2 of the 6 pin pci-e power inputs for it to work, otherwise it complained about not having enough power. How many are you using? Can your PSU cope?

reverted back to 3.2ghz since temps were rising nearer 70 when fire and heating was on

now im back to 3.2ghz [1.3volts in cpuz] and temps stay under 50c always

much better this way :D
