has any body got an Q8200 above 3.0ghz but been able to keep it cool enough? if so what cooler is used and what calc's? :confused:

got comp now runing at 3.21ghz! 457*7 @ 1.30625v ddr @1098hz and 2.34v Fsb stapped to 400!

temps of around 51-54C no load going to burn a blu-ray to test

Ill keep an eye on this thread, going to try and push my 8200 soon.

mines at 2.8ghz (7x400fsb) everything else stock, temps around 30c idle/ 50c loaded with a asus silent knight cooler.

bluemax can u help me?
i need to know what difference the FSB strapping makes.
I have a asrock twin1600 mobo and there are jumper settings on the mobo to make it a different strap speed i think.
When i say i think, its becuase im not too sure, but say when i change the jumpers to 1600fsb mode, i get different memory speed options than when i change it to normal mode.
i currently have mine at 7 x 400, 1.275 in the bios but CPUZ reports it as 1.25. is your voltage the reading from the bios or in CPUZ?
what is the level of volts that becomes dangerous for this chip?

strapping the fsb is a good thing stops things blowing up! lol
i use bios to check voltage and mines currently up to 1.3125 but im still playing with mine. can get 3.2ghz stable but im pushing further!
