Q9550 price just drop g*d damn it!

Im very tempted to upgrade my E6750 to a nice little quad. so please come down a little bit, please please please. just for 'ickle old me, (and anyone else who wants one)

Just brought me a Q9550 (its a retail but used, so it probably isnt a E0), 4Gb Dominator (2x2gb) 1066mhz and a P5Q motherboard.

Cost me £215 :(

Meh, will hold me til my i7 mobo comes back from RMA. >_> Damn I hate being a student.

My Q6600 was hotter than my Q9550 and was a surprising performance drop.
+ the only place i can see a Q6600 lists it at £145 - didnt look particularly hard.
My q6600 (lapped) ran at 68-68-62-62 at 3.8ghz, recently switched it for an EO stepping q9550, runs loaded at 54-50-46-46 at 3.8ghz, albeit being a 45nm chip which needs a lot less voltage than the 65nm parts, clocking wise id say 3.6-3.8 ghz is easily achievable on the q9550's, particularly the EO's.
