I bought one of these off here last week when they were on offer and mine is definitely the EO stepping version.
It runs very well indeed, idling at 19C with an Arctic Freezer 7 and getting to 26C when playing COD5. No overclocking as yet.

Did you buy the OEM or the retail version?
 
am really happy with mine, although it has two stuck sensors at 41C, the other two read about 32C with no load using a Tuniq Tower. Under load all sensors go up to between 39 and 42C. Isnt overclocked yet, but is with a P5Q Deluxe.

Only issue I had with the setup was the 4x1 Crucial Ballistix 6400 I had, swapped them out for 2x2 OCZ 8500, works like a charm :)
 
I recieved mine a couple of weeks ago but haven't set any of it up yet.

I have bought a Noctua NH-U12P. Most of you seem to be buying the Tuniq cooler. Does this perform better? I've also bought a P5Q Deluxe and 4GB GeIl memory, so hope not to be too dissappointed.

I'm hoping to get cracking on the setup next week, so will post up more details then! Good to see the Q9550 clan coming together.

Thinking of swapping my E8400 for one of these.

Would like to see how they overclock, would hope for 4GHz. Would also like to see how they perform clock-for-clock against a E8400
