QHD monitors compatiblity

Hi
I have a radeon 6850 graphics card and onboard Radeon 4290 grahpics. I want to upgrade to 2 QHD monitors and was wondering if those cards would be ok to do so and what connections I would need if so (HDMI/DVI/Display port?)

Are monitors 60hz, 75hz, 144hz something else?

I am looking at 60hz monitors - prob a BEnq or Dell ultrasharp 27 inch

max resolution for DVI/DisplayPort/HDMI are all 2560x1600 from a quick search so you should be fine if using those connections, for desktop use at least (gaming at that res on a 6850 would be terrible )

thanks. I only use for general desktop work and photo editing. unfortunately no time for gaming.
