Good point GeX.

I went for this one in the end:-

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wireless-C...d=1510215258&sr=8-6&keywords=wireless+charger

Along with this QC 3.0 charger:-

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dual-USB-C...coding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=A59KG9VGC9BDDA4ZR7XQ

Ultimately I want to get Apples offering next year so this should do until then.
Have the same Rav Power charger and an Eboot puck. same to charge as fast as the standard 10W Apple charger does and all for £17.

We went for two of the Morphies and they are great. LED is dim and goes out once finished, no noise and the grip is fantastic. You also get a power lead in the box. It’s grippy top and bottom and the phones charge in all positions.

Will the Rav Power charger work at the same specification with the 10w Apple charger plug?

Can't see spec wise why I should pay a further £16 for the Rav power plug...

Making my way through all the junk on Amazon, good job they have free returns. Stuck with my RavPower desktop stand as it’s solid and the lights are so dim I don’t mind.

Chargers though...

Sent back, coil whine and a ridiculously bright Blue LED which isn’t mentioned.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01KTJ2BGW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_K0obAb8K04GGJ
Sent back, doesn’t do USB PD and frankly massive.

Anyone finds a QC3.0 + USB PD / QC3.0 + 2.4a adapter which is travel friendly with no lights or whine please post it!

Why don't you go for Anker? Slightly more money than what you had referenced, but the quality is excellent. For the LED just put a piece of electrician's tape over it.

I have a couple of these, and my favourite feature is I can take one of them when I go on holiday with the family, and basically a single charger charges every phone/iPad/tablet.

Top tip for travelling is take 4 gang plug socket then you only need one Plug converter, combine that neat trick the anker linked and you are good to go. I may have backpacked for 3 years :p

Want a wall wart style one really, not a cabled one.

Purchased jetech and holife wireless chargers from amazon, and although both work well I don’t think they are qi certified. Bit worried about this as I don’t want to fry my iPhone X. Am I being silly!???

Reviews of the cheaper ones are really mixed, some over heating and even some catching fire. Went for the Apple recommended ones to be safe and actually, they are great but a little expensive.

lol yes your right. Get a bit of a discount through work so works out about £49. Not a huge amount but will help with next weeks beans on toast after waxing all my cash on this thing (lol)

Cheaper chargers are fine and plenty of them have good reviews. It might be surprise to some but apple didn't invent wireless charging and it's been here for years ;) those chargers wouldn't get hundreds of good reviews if they were bad. Even the most expensive can fail, that's tech...

I've got jetech one and it's working fine.
