Just got one of these QNAP TS-212 and I can't get it to update it's firmware and start initialising the disks.
The Finder software locates the device and I can get to the web based UI, it says it needs a firmware update but even if I use the .img file on the supplied CD or download the latest from QNAP it fails and repeats it needs a firmware update.

Anyone used one and had this? Or anyone any ideas what's wrong.
