Qpad MK-50

I love mine :)

It just feels quality. No showy lights, doesn't have USB or audio jacks. Just an honest, well made, heavy duty mechanical keyboard. If that's all you want then go for it. I've got mine with Cherry MX Blacks but I'm not sure what they've decided to run their keyboards with right now.

cheers im not lookin for anything fancy on the keyboard, was lookin at K90 but i wont use the extra keys. so thought no point in that. wouldnt mind back lighting but not essential

Considering I bought mine for a sweet £90, I think £63 is a very good price for a keyboard of this quality. Have you checked what switch type it has?

I got the MK-50 this week. I chose it because I wanted red switches and a wrist rest, and didn't particularly need to pay twice the price for the extras of the MK-85.

It'll take a couple of weeks to get used to I think, it's got a different slope to it than my old eclipse did - but each key press is a pleasure, rather than the mushy feel of a rubber dome. I definitely think that reds are the right pressure for most people and that blacks are probably too stiff - I'd be curious to see what browns feel like tho.

I called OCUK and got them to price match, because it is a fair bit cheaper elsewhere.

Build quality is spot on. Comes with a key puller, some orange keys, and a PS2 to USB converter. and haribo :)

Nice one thanks. A decent amount smaller than my current board. Really becoming tempted by a mechanical. And other comparable boards worth a look?
