QQ: How do I enable speedstep for C2D in power settings?

Was it just set the power settings to laptop/portable? I tried that but my clock speed remains steady at 10x muliplayer underload and at idel according to coretemp.

How do I enable speed step again?

Ok, Checked the bios. I can't find anything that remotely looks like it could relate to speedstep. Do you lot have a clue? I know I had it working a few months ago a few bios versions and 2 formats ago.

It should be these : CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E), CPU Thermal Monitor 2(TM2), CPU EIST Function

Also you will need to set your Power Profile in Windows to one of the more conservative ones. I.e. not "Always On" or "Home/Desktop PC"!
