Quad 11Ls Taken fall damage

I bought my lovely Quads about 4 years ago now so out of warrenty, but to cut a long story short, my little girl knocked one of the speakers off its stand and it collided with the TV's AV rack on the way down, and as a concequence has inflicted quick a big gash on the edge off the speaker, so much that it has gone through the laquer finish

Any ideas on repairing this, as i know it does have the laquer and piano gloss finish. Any help would be greatly recieved

best hope are those wax 'repair' crayons. I'll be honest though, you will always notice it.

worth trying an antique restorer? They may be able to work on the wood and keep the finish?

I have a pair of 12L2s in gloss black, and would hate for something like this to befall them. I think a professional repair at an antique restorer, or even a piano shop might be able to help.

And thanks the rest of you, Il be getting in touch with an antique restorer after the weekend, looks probably like my best bet
