quad gt problem

my quad gt has an error code 11 on it. i cant find anywhere what this error is. the screen says "award bootblock bios v1.0"
"bios rom checksum error"
"keyboard error or no keyboard present"
and other things.
could this bea faulty motherboard?
any suggestions...

The obvious question is - does it have a keyboard plugged in? Is it a USB or PS/2 keyboard?

yes everything is plugged in its just the mboard isnt picking anything up ive tried it ps2 and usb.

Have you tried resetting the BIOS?

the onboard reset buttons dont seem to do anything when we tried it.
because it cant pick anything up, i cant access anything to try and figure the problem out. on laptop atm:0

Have you tried the CLR CMOS switch on the back panel?

no but will do thanx, just browsed and many have had similar problems and suggested batery change or new bios. ill fiddle around with it.

Use a PS2mouse and get the latest BIOS put onto it.
