very nice case indeed. I wouldnt want to take a dremal to that now.

certainly not, wouldnt even dream of modding this case! The cooling zones and mobo layout (picture 1) leave nothing to be desired - pure elegance if you ask me! then we've got the riser cards for the FB-DIMMS, not an option im afraid, the mobo requires EEC RAM (picture 2)

a complete waste of money - 99% of people wouldnt use one woodcrest let alone two, they also wouldnt realise normal Win XP wouldnt use 4Gb of ram,and if they upgraded to XP 64 they would have a difficult time choosing hardware with driver support

how many ultimate PCs are cost concerned i must ask?

Isn't writing stuff for smp a thing of the past now....Are not most apps now multithreaded by nature of the compilers that are used and will use more then 1 core...or at least the OS will do some of the background stuff on 1 core at the very least. Don't games like Oblivion also support multiple threads.

And of course when Vista comes out won't it make use of all that extra ram, so the 4gig limit won't matter.

By the way, why do most XP machines only see 3gig when there is 4gigs or more installed. Is this due to the fact that by enabling a swap file you are going over the 4gig limit so XP drops back down to 3gigs ?
