I still have Q3, installed it again a few months back. It laged like crazy on my 56k, I don't really know why. It used to play ok.

I'd be guessing that its something to do with the inherent lag of running anything on 56k
how did we live without ADSL?
also I'd guess that most servers are setup for 512 or better.

That's why I played Rocket Arena, I was on 56k when I first got this game and anything else was just too laggy...

Well we can't get broadband only source here is a WISP & they are jerks. We called back & forth for months they just wouldn't come out to check ontop of a small hill.
