ID Software have released quake live beta test for everyone. If you do not know already, which you probably already do. But i didn't find any threads about it.

Yeah, it's been out for ages. Has been open beta for nearly a year now iirc.

Been an invite only beta up til now i think. Haven't played at all this year to be honest. Quake 3 was awesome, this is distilled and sterilised. Something is missing in QLive for me. Plus I loved the sound of my modem firing up to play some CTF... Those were the days...

Only game I play now. Everything since the Q3 engine has been awful in my experience.

Nick is foyrtcw for anyone wanting an easy opponent.
