Quake poster!

Loved Quake,

Played the Shareware version to death, then had to get my dad to buy it for me. Amazing game for the time and still is today.

Took me ages to figure out the last boss :p

Greatest game ever, spent 4 years playing that game will never be surpassed for me, it was the original online multiplayer fps, of course "doomer's" will disagree but quake had a proper netcode and interface.

Modern games despite the fancy gfx just dont seem as good, I think it was the whole "newness" of being able to play people across the world which is just taken for granted now.

Anyway got a bit nostalgic there.. nice poster.

dont play that new rubbish quake source thing. The origional works installs and plays fine. just go to the console and put +mlook to use the mouse.

Quake should be played in 320x240 mode, darkest gamma setting using cursor keys left control to shoot and shift to run. speakers on loud

same goes for doom and duke 3d
 
i used to play it @ 640x480 on my p166 and matrox mytique . them shamblers scared the doodoo out of me hehe
 
sell it to me and yea i still got the original box and stuff and the pcgamer guide booklet heh.

man i ruled that game
