quake wars help

hi, I have quake wars installed. i open it up, log in and try to join a server, but everytime it comes up with a windows error.
I am using xp sp2 and quake is up to date.

Any ideas?

Just a normal etwq.exe has caused an error and needs to close. the error is a normal xp one

It's because of your ATI card....update to newest drivers (optional) and DISABLE Catylist AI in CCC or ATI Tray Tools...Ati is working on a fix in the next driver update, but for now, disable catylist ai and it'll work.
