Quakwars ingame footage (6 mins)

Some info about the game i got from an e3 subscriber interview:

Multiplayer physics were enigineered from the ground up specificaly for online and lan play.

Vehicles can take numerous amounts of damage its possible to get wheels blown off, a 4 wheeled jeep can get its 2 rear wheels taken of and can drive on the front 2 dragging its rear end on the ground.

Different vehicles have different levels of traction, depending if theyre 2wd 4wd or 6wd. tanks for example can roll over obstacles that other vehicles have to go around. The quad bike is great at getting up hills in a hurry etc. Makes a change from bf2 where an 80ton tank is stopped in its tracks by an almighty sandbag

Servers dynamicaly scan the battleifled an asign each player amission to complete, you're priovided with info on where to go, what your objecive is and what your reward is for completing it. So basicaly the whole server can work as a team more easily and be unaware of it.

:)

Aye, i just watched that Gamespot interview, they gave the same information, not a subscriber though, it was free... looks pretty good...

Cool, downloading the vid now.

I really like the idea of the servers scanning the battlefield and issueing orders to the players, just hope it works well.

looks wicked, is this the first of proper physics games? Wish someone made a game where you could literaly blow everything up and interact with everything on screen. Now that would be cool.

sounds bloody brilliant compared to the farce that is known as bf2 :)
hopefully there will none of that cheating scanner crap that shows every enemy player on the whole map.

yeah, but no-where usedful, they found that as soon as you let people blow pathways though walls they used it to get to the end without encoutering NPCs etc, so it made it hard to progress though the game the way THEY wanted you to (ie people would blow holes and the NPCs would fall into it, rendering them usedless) so they choped it down loads.
was still cool
