7 concurrent cameras
Every move you make matters—and when you have an XR device that keeps up with your every step, head tilt or hand gesture, you get a real-world experience. Snapdragon XR2 enables 7 concurrent cameras, for precise motion tracking and gesture recognition so you can move the way that feels most natural to you while getting the most accurate and intuitive response in XR.

True mixed reality
Now, you can get the best of both worlds—figuratively. True mixed reality blends your virtual and physical environments so you can be fully immersed in VR content while maintaining awareness of the world around you. Mixed reality uses 3D video pass-through to allow convergence of realities—where VR and AR can coexist in one device and the user can toggle between levels of immersion. This allows them to maintain situational awareness of their real environment without removing their headset.

XR and AI
When AI and XR unite, your devices ultimately create a world that revolves around you. They will learn about you with every unique interaction, getting smarter over time and gradually becoming more predictive and constructive. That means your XR experiences will be more customized and engaging while getting better at meeting your needs and desires. Plus, AI efficiency accounts for massive power savings and optimized performance.

5G
Imagine a world where virtual interactions mimic human reflex. Where content loads instantly, and faraway events happen live in your living room. Where viewing is unbelievably immersive, and games are played with multiple people, all over the globe – in real time. This is what you get when XR and 5G worlds collide: superior, speed-of-life interactions that empower you to play longer and dive deeper. Plus, boundless XR gives you untethered access to this next-gen experience, anytime and anywhere.

8K
With support for 8K 360° video, the Snapdragon XR2 opens up opportunities for a new generation of fully immersive and highly interactive video content. This staggering resolution eliminates nearly all pixilation, even when zoomed in, and pushes image quality for stronger sensory experiences. Plus, a rate of 60 fps allows high-definition rendering of slow-motion replays or movie scenes, letting viewers see quadruple the detail in crisp, clear quality.

Voice UI and context awareness
Designed to make virtual assistance and interactive experiences more responsive than ever, always-on voice activation makes sure the device can hear voice commands, even in busy environments with heavy background noise. Contextual awareness provides an added layer of confidence and safety by letting users focus on their XR experience while the device monitors their real environment by distinguishing noises from the user’s background that may require attention, such as a crying baby or ringing doorbell, and will prompt the user accordingly —all while using low power.

Yeah bit of a paper release. Nevermind how good the Quest is the selection of Quest specific games are a bit lacking you get about one new game a month. The appeal of linking it to the PC and using Sideload opens up another world.

No mention of game support either.
