Samsung Launches CFG70, CF791 Quantum Dot Curved Gaming Monitors
For IFA 2016, Samsung is launching two new quantum dot curved gaming monitors, the CFG70 and the CF791.
What's special about the new Samsung CFG70 and CF791 is that they'll be Samsung's first quantum dot curved gaming monitors.
These quantum dot monitors feature a wide color gamut of up to 125% of the sRGB spectrum and are also the first cadmium-free quantum dot curved monitors which are much more environmentally friendly than previous cadmium based models.
Gaming features onboard the Samsung CFG70 include a Gaming UX OSD interface which will allow gamers to quickly access the dashboard to monitor essential settings such as response time, refresh rate, etc.
The Samsung CF791 will only be available in the 34″ screen size.
Samsung will formally introduce the new curved gaming monitors at their IFA press conference on September 1.
The CFG70 24″ will retail for $399, the CFG70 27″ will retail for $499, and the CF791 will retail for $999 when it launches in 4Q2016.
