I'm glad I wasn't born into the monarchy. Would I like their wealth? Sure

But their lives are hardly their own. The pressure those positions hold must be horrendous at times.

Most people only see the money

You do know the whole story is a load of bull, right?

It's a propaganda story, to make sure the people keep loving/following the queen and her government so they can stay in power and we keep paying our taxes.
They know their days are numbered now, and so they are resorting to extreme fear tactics (terrorism/terrorists) to hold on to your loyalty.

This terrorist plot story against the queen doesn't sound very credible, seems like more propaganda, just like the terrorist threat level alerts.
