Queen Wembley 1986?

I've got this on DVD and I'd do anything to have been able to see it . I was only 1 at the time :(

Has any got the Montreal dvd? Looking for some Queen on bluray but they only have the Montreal gig which was a few years earlier? Worth it if I've already got Wembley?

Unfortunately not :(
But Live Magic was the first album I ever owned. If I had a time machine it'd be one of the places I'd go.

Looking for some Queen on bluray...

Why bother on Blu-Ray? Is there any advantages over DVD? I dont think the sound quality can be improved any further.

Just watched Queen on Fire last night, and I've been to see 'The Works' with Gary Mullen play in Scarborough, as well as a trip to 'We will Rock you' when it toured - truly awesome.

Wish I'd been born earlier, would have loved to see Queen live.

I missed that one, but it looked damn good from the DVD - did manage to go to the tribute concert.
Not quite the same without Mr Mercury singing though.

Higher bitrate lossless audio and higher quality visuals.

Montreal on bluray is a very good example of how well concert footage can be done. Also includes their Live Aid performance too. :D

I was about 2 and a half when Queen performed at Wembley. :(

Yes. Got it on Bluray for Christmas. Stunning visual quality. The first musical bluray I've got. Montreal sees Queen a little more raw and not as polished as at Wembley 86. I would still recommend it though. I just hope Brian and Roger can get more of Queen's concerts out on Bluray. :)

"I saw Queen when they were supporting Mott the Hoople."

"I wouldnt say Queen were all that good live".

Saves Dmpoole posting.

I would liked to of been able to see them live, especially at wembley.

1 - Correct (in 1971/72)

2 - Wrong - Queen were one of the best live bands ever.

3 - I also saw them on their very first headlining tour in 1973 promoting Sheer Heart Attack and then saw them about 4 times after that but I never went to Wembley.

4 - When they first came out they were known as the new Led Zeppelin according to Sounds, Melody Maker and NME.

5 - I have about 20 rare live concerts on DVD :)
