I've got the VR Optician ones and they clip over the top of the lens cups. They have these little protusions that dig into the rubber cups surrounding the lenses. They're actually a pain to clip on properly. If you don't do it right they tend to fall off. They also protrude from the lenses so you have less room to dial in the headet, though I have it on the closest eye-relief.

ah these ones for the Q3 aren't big enough really, then are slightly smaller than the lenses i think, so hard to explain, but i think really they fit in between the rubber and the lens

The reviewer in that video you linked seemed to just pop them on until he heard a click. I'll watch it again to see if he twisted them on. Did you hear a click when you installed yours? If not, that might be the problem. Also, I'm sure you did but I have to ask, have you put the correct face of the lenses downward, eg, like heads or tails?

ok , i managed to get my prescription lenses in, they "clicked" into place
but something is not right

the meta logo is double vision for me, and soon as the home screen comes up, yes it looks sharper but my head hurts straight away i feel something is not right

i took the gasket off completely, no difference

I have a feeling the left and rights are the wrong way around

i emailed them anyway, and they replied straight away!
just sent them my prescription

should have tested that !

they put a card in with it, but it does not say "left" or "right" just the figures, so it is possible its the wrong way around, maybe i ordered them incorrectly
 
going to try my new modification out tomorrow night when i can do some more VR

you'll be fine

is yours a high prescrition ? (mines -9 -11) and they are very thick (like the ones in my glasses frames) if yours is a lot lower, they will be really thin, so make sure you dont put them on wrong (glass to lenses)
