hmm , well if they are just different name batteries, no point me buying more lol
£8 for 4 seems good though

I'm using rechargeables. They rapidly drop, but that's because they give a 1.2v reading, they then hold at 20% for quite a long time.
I use Eneloop 2500mAh rechargable batteries that last a decent amount of time.
Interesting, now try without glassesMini Review of the Globular Cluster Halo strap.
Installation isn't difficult - getting the facial interface off was the hardest bit.
It comes with a variety of pads and straps, including Index like cloth, and PU. These are velcroed for easy swapping.
The default back cushion is a heavy honeycomb which apparently is intended to act as a counterweight when using without the standard Q3 facial interface. If you use the thinner fabric strap without using the facial interface it's best to add a battery counterweight. (Something I'll be doing.)
Initial impressions are its not as comfortable or as secure as the Quest Pro with the Globular Cluster kit, but its more adjustable.
I was getting some forehead pain which is a sign I had it adjusted too tight, I think it'll take some fiddling to get it right.
One annoyance is without a facial interface there's a noticeable gap above the headset where light shines through. Happily this is mitigated simply by placing one of the spare forehead cushions in the gap.
Overall its way better than the default strap and open face mode is great, but it's not as comfy or secure as the Quest Pro with the Globular Cluster Kit, at least not without some fiddling.
Oh and was using this with glasses, so that also makes it slightly less comfy compared to using prescription lenses.
i just meant for the comfort side not vision (until you get inserts)Sure and then it's all blurry.
Is there a BoboVR (style) strap I can get for the Q3 that includes a battery?
from what Ive read Bobo is at 13w vs Kiwi at 15w, and Kiwi is not making noise whilst retaining a form factor I can fit in the official case when not in use. Im willing to give it a punt. If it extends battery life by even an hour that's probably all I need. Either way I have no bias so will put up an honest review, if a better option appears later I don't mind upgrading.
I was actually playing with my son earlier, we played multiplayer games from full charge to empty, and my 3 year old Quest 2 was roughly draining at about the same speed as my Quest 3, so the battery life is I guess not as bad as I thought on Q3, although I think my Q2 is not as good as it used to be.
Erm, where are you putting your hand controllers exactly?
This one ?Have a look at the Aubika head strap.
Seems to fit what you want and the battery is excellent.
It's on offer at the moment too
