Quest 3 owners etc

I think it's raw camera data. Looks pretty cool through the lenses but it would only record both camera feeds for recording and streaming. I've pulled a copy of the APK file off the headset if you want to have a look at it.

Ah right ok, interesting. If I can figure out my own use for it I'll grab it from you, cheers, it might even be available on the store tbh, not yet looked.

Here's a link to the myairbridge download for anyone that wants it. It only last a couple of days

Cheers yeh I'm expecting it to be a decent bit better, the screen door on cv1 was quite bad. I was into sim racing then so it was excellent for that.
Hoping there are loads of new experiences now to try out.
Also please be aware the downsides of coming from a CV1 to a Quest 3.
Namely, terrible audio quality (CV1 was great!) and poor comfort out of the box (you'll want to get a replacement headstrap and facial interface asap)

The screen upgrade is huge tho :)

Yes that 2 things I immediately noticed, still working it out tbh. The screens are miles better but until I get if fired up with power from the pc I won't get the real benefits I don't think.
Any recommendations for the strap upgrade because that's needed asap.

it depends on what u want and your budget, i spent 50 on a kkcobvr halo style headstrap plus battery, love it, the bobo s3 pro gets good reviews, 100+ though afaik

I play Iracing exclusively with the Quest 3. After half an hour or so the heat build on my face and forehead gets uncomfortable. Is there a way to reduce the heat? A fan or spacer of some sort to allow ventilation?

Ok cheers, I will try out virtual desktop as I would rather not be tethered if quality is comparable.
consider also the cable connection basically works with the meta connect software only
were as virtual desktop works with steam as well as meta

or the

The KKCOBVR Q3 Pro will let you move the interface so that it doesn't touch your face if you want.
You can even use it without an interface.

They also do this.

Ah thank you. I'm currently using the bobovr with the Q3. I'll look into these ventilated designs. Thank you

Thanks for the advice guys, virtual desktop worked perfectly.
Fired up half life alyx for the first time in 4 years, **** me what a difference from the cv1. Mind completely blown.

If you have any Oculus PC games in the Meta PC app try those - Robo Recall, Lone Echo, and others look incredible on a modern headset.

Yeh I was wondering why they didn't transfer to the standalone headset app but glad they are now there in pc app.
I will need to get something to track the pc performance but alyx seem to run perfect at 120 on ultra.
I was so into it forgot to have dinner.
