Hi,

This morning I had taken my 250gb Samsung evo plus NVMe out of my laptop and had added my original primary wb blue NVMe to the 2nd slot on my mortar max b450 board. I've manged to reinstall win10 64 onto my new primary the Samsung but my original now secondry NVMe isn't showing in bios or disk manager. Any ideas on what I may need to do?

Second slot supports only NVMe (PCIe) SSDs and that WD Blue is SATA SSD.
You need to put it into primary CPU connected M.2 slot.

I really appreciate your reply.

In the end I took out my GPU and like you said had put my WD Blue into the m. 2 first slot and the 970 evo into the m. 2 second slot and hay presto.

Im guesing that's the only way to do it, is it going to be slower being the way they need to go in the slots, I had tried to copy and paste transfer my steam games from the WD Blue to the sammysung but was going to like take days. Why was that? Any options I may need to select in my bios? I had just left everything at auto.
