Question about 14 days return policy

Really? Not what i expected tbh. All my local electronic stores here are deserted and the occasional none-helpful idiot roaming the isles. I thought all electronic/pc related stores/depots were the same :')

Our shop is more of a trade counter, here are some old photos, some things have changed since:

A nice place to collect for the locals, rather than having a delivery. :)

Also, we have all staff here, so usually anything that you need help with, we can help!

Just a question, If I order a B-Grade monitor of off you and within 24 days I want to return it, will I have to pay shipping?

I can agree here from personal experience :D Around Grimsby the likes of PC World, Comet, Currys, etc are all always deserted..

Nice to see a Grimbarian on the forums..

I wish I lived nearby, I live in the south east :(

Thanks, just asking as I am planning on buying the AOC 21.5" B-Grade for my new build, when I get enough money :)

5UB,

Just a question as well to the same post as my issue is related. Well, mixed with warranty.

I have bought all parts for a new PC from OcUK. Got it delivered this Saturday – Ivy, SSDs, Antec P280, Xigmantek cooler too make the PC as silent as possible and relying on the integrated GPU. All in all, it should not require more than 100W at load. The hardest thing to choose was the PSU. I thought that going with 400W would have been enough. However decided that I want it silent and went for the Corsair TX 650 V2 at the end of the day.

After setting everything up, it was noisier than expected at idle. Apparently it was Corsair constantly spinning and creating plenty of noise – was expecting it to be silent even under load. I have decided to contact OcUK as it was weird purchasing Corsair and getting more noise than from a “crappy” PSU for £15. Set up RMA. Now just thinking:

1) If OcUK will tell that PSU is supposed to work this way and it’s not faulty, is 14 days satisfaction applicable in such conditions?
2) If it is faulty, is it possible to take the other type of PSU from OcUK as a new box will be sent anyways. I would be happy to purchase something extra if the new PSU had a lower price? Or it is necessary to take exactly the same unit?

Thank you for the answer.

You're better off posting in the Customer Service section of the forum.

Surveyor,

I think that question is somewhere in between customer service and the topic of the thread. I have contacted customer service already regarding faultiness, so just wanted to ask about the possible options and consequences.

I have alerted 5UB to your post.

When he logins he should be along and provide you with answers:)

Do number one, return it under the 14 day satisfaction and tell us that it is too noisy and you are looking to pay more for a different one.

That will be fine, and that is all you need to say. :)
