Not really a fan of posting in this section but meh.... I'l keep in short.

I play 11 aside football, do a lot of running and I box. Few games back some one stood on my big toe (left foot, my kicking foot)... it hurt. As the weeks have gone on its now utterly killing me, i'm pretty sure it’s broken. No point in going up the A+E because there aint nout that can be done i expect...

So any1 go any advice, i'm not stopping playing football i've given it 2 weeks rest and is feeling a little better.... so any1 got any advice on how best to sort this problem or strapping it up?

Are you serious....

"Doctor i have a bad toe"....

Ok let me ask this.... has any1 had a plaster cast on a toe.... no? then going to the doctors will onyl waste his time and my time

Hospital. You're being a total idiot if you don't, and risking it healing incorrectly. THEN you'll be really screwed.

Oh, and as far as experience goes, I've never had a broken toe but do suffer random bouts of gout in my right ankle. Got one coming on right now, in fact. The pain with that is unimaginable - sometimes it takes every bit of mental will I have just to lift the foot off the ground to walk.

If it's broken it'll probably be X-rayed. GP will refer you. Seriously, wtf dyou think a doctor is for? People got to themf or far less than a broken bone.

lolthegoon... go to the doctors!

You will have seen about professional footballers breaking toes and how long they spend out, ~ 6 weeks. And they are pro's getting the best treatment available.

From Here...

Go and see your GP!

Ok then, from experience, go and see a doctor get some pain meds and he will tell you to stop smacking it against a football every week.

Do you understand the forces involved between your foot and the ball when you kick it? You also realise that you don't walk on your big toe (or do you? weirdo :/)
