Got an RMA coming back from fedex from OCZ

Tracked it on the website and it said that there have been 2 failed deliveries with the wrong address. It says "Newcastle GB" "Delivery Exception"

The only problem is that I'm 5 hours away in Scotland...? I phoned them and they have my correct address (including postcode) but it was a sister courier that is doing the delivery (think it was ACNC or something).

Does anyone know what company does UK deliveries for Fedex?

Cheers,
Mark

Loads of couriers sub for each other. FedEx own ANC so that is the most likely.

Are you sure it has 2 failed deliveries? Can you post a screenshot of the T&T listing? I only ask because when we use the term "Exception" it means that 1 of 2 parcels (for example) is missing. Newcastle could just be the sortation hub/depot.

Oh dear :p

FedEx would appear to use "Delivery Exception" for what we call "Check Address"

Looks like they have misrouted your parcel to Newcastle depot rather than where you actually are. Why has the driver tried 2 days running? Lol.

f they have the correct address a parcel can still easily get misrouted. Try and squeeze the Newcastle depot number out of them. No idea if FedEx have a depot in Newcastle, more likely they use an ANC facility.

Surely their track in trace system isn't that bad that the operator you spoke to couldn't fathom that this had been misrouted

OK.

Turns out that ANC have it at my local depot. The Fedex tracking is useless for me but I phoned them for the third time and got my ANC tracking number and just looked it up on their site. Will probably be able to collect it tomorrow :)

Thanks for the replies,
Mark

I work for Nightfreight, we also use "check address" for the exception!

Mind you, there depot catchment area for Scotland is Newcastle? This seems odd to me!

How many depot's do they have in total?

Nightfrieght have 88 depots nationwide (eng, scot, wales and northern ireland), 27 of which are sub contracted depot's e.g. Our Aberdeen depot is called M&H Logistics!
