I recieved an Accelero S1 Rev.2 today for my Saphhire HD 4850 and i'm not entirely sure how to seat the 4 heatsink on the voltage regulators as they are not the same shape.

Highlighted below are the 4 voltage regulators.

Below you can (kind of) see the difference in shape between voltage regs and the heatsink base.

Below are my two options for seating them.

One heatsink seated vertically on two voltage regs.

Or, one on each but with each heatsink not covering the entire surface (kind of hard to see in the photo) area of each voltage reg due to the difference in shape.

Any advice would be appreciated and i apologise for the crappy pictures.

Thanks

I would personally choose the one that gives the most coverage to the chip itself. So go for the 2 under 1 if the other is leaving gaps.

your correct, the highlighted items are actually inductors (chokes) and do not need heat sinks. the 8 smaller chips to their right, between the screw holes are the devices that need the sinks.
