Get yourself a WRT54GS - you won't regret it.

I don't actually need wireless. Would the WRT54G provide the same security functions?

Yes it would - bascially the GS has faster wireless than the G.

I personally don't use the wireless on my router - but it's always handy if I need it.

Actually didn't sound right. "I don't need a wireless router but would this wireless router do?"

I was actually referring to the 'S' bit at the end of the model number. That's the bit I don't need. You answered my question just fine though. Thanks.

It does NAT so it'll firewall as well as most other SoHo routers.

Thanks for the replies, guys. As it turns out, my mate's got a spare WRT54G that he's going to 'lend' me. Been doing a bit of reading on it and I must admit I'm quite looking forward to seeing it now.
