question about nvidia global settings

in global settings ambient occlusion is either off, quality or performance theres no application controlled tab like other settings.

do in game settings override that setting or does it need to be set to on for it to work at all in game.

Good question, all i know is that it makes a small difference to quality between performance and quality. So i use performance.

anything and everything is set to performance, then make any graphical changes through in game settings.

At the end of the day the control panel has the first and final say, but I change what I can (you cant control everything), then ramp everything up in game.
