Question about page file location

I'm running VIsta 64 installed on a 40Gb partition with other installed apps. There is about 9Gb space left on this partition. The pagefile is currently on the same drive. Is it worth moving the pagefile location to another, possibly faster drive?

+1, always good to do so if you have another physical disk

Move it if you are short of space. Doubt you will notice much performance benefit.

Best way to find out what is best for your type of usage is to simply try it on both C:\ HDD and other separate HDD...I found that with using SSDs, the best place was on C:\, programs opened quicker...some people like to let the OS manage the pagefile, however, I use a static one, the same size as amount of ram that I have installed...but really trying different setups is how you will find out what best suits you!
