Hi guys, I just returned from overseas. I am paranoid person so I am here asking a question.

If you're bitten by a dog, must there be an open wound for the virus to enter your body?

I was bitten by a 4 months old dog and there is no open wound, so I am just wondering if you are still able to catch the virus.

Thanks.

Well mate, every man with a logical mind knows you see a doctor. But I am curious, so if someone could answer my question, that would be great.

How do dogs catch rabies anyway besides being bitten by another mammal?

I don't have those symptons, so I guess I am fine, but I will just go for a diagnosis just to be sure.

We aren't allowed to answer your question, it's against forum rules to have medical threads, that's why you got the replies you did :)

Even if you have rabies, this would be something a doctor wouldn't think your wasting his/her time about. Go see one.

If memory serves correct, rabies is a disease that can't be treated if too much time has passed by.
