Could I take a disk image with acronis from my single 500GB F3, then format and add another 500GB F3, and install that image onto those drives but in RAID0? Or do I have to do a complete fresh install? Would really like to avoid the hassle of reinstalling all my progs if poss, but like the idea of RAID0. Cheers!

You can do it with an image but with one proviso. The image you restore has to have the correct drivers to allow the SATA controller to run in RAID mode. There are guides out there on how to do it, mainly there to move from IDE to AHCI mode but it's the same theory to go to the RAID driver.

EDIT: re-reading the above it's not all that clear - you need to have your system running with the SATA controller in RAID mode and the correct drivers installed before you take the image to restore onto the array.

That was what I was worried about. I was hoping there was some sort of workaround, but maybe after nearly a year it's time for a good cleanout. Just as I got my FSX configs all sexified too :(
