Hi all,

I bought a pair of headphones from a high street retailer (one of the biggest ones) last year in June, and had to return them in October due to them just dying on me.

Returned them fine, and they have been working up until today, when again, they just died. I'm not man handling them before you ask, they only get used at work at my desk, and then they are left in a draw overnight.

I've kept the receipts, both the original and the refund receipt, and have all the packaging, but it has been over a year since I originally bought them, but only 8 months since I got the exchange. Question I'm asking is, do they give a years warranty on exchanged items? And if not, do I still have a leg to stand on with regards to a refund/exchange

Thanks

They weren't hugely expensive, £130.

Normally I would just ask the manufacturer (Bose) and have them swap them out as I get 2 years warranty with them. But I go on holiday next week, and I ideally want them for the flight
