question about samsung ssd 830

Hi all

I have a question about the Samsung SSD 830 256gb that is currently on the diamond jubilee special preorder price. It says it comes with an apple series kit? Does that mean I won't be able to use it in my non apple laptop? I think they are smaller than standard Hdds? Does that have anything to do with it? Are the spacers different for apple?

its a standard SSD the same as the one in the desktop kit.

it comes with a USB> sata connector so you can clone a laptops hardrive
and a Drive Spacer for 9.5mm drive bays

its a 2.5inch drive 7mm deep, the spacer makes the drive 9.5mm deep

it will fit in your laptop no prob.
