Question About Warranty

Hi Guys,

I bought a laptop from a well known computer world. It was purchased in June this year so is still within 12 months warranty.

If i come to sell it how do i pass the warranty on if i cant find my receipt - or is it not possible?

You'd need the receipt or maybe not if you registed the laptop with the maker.

I doubt it is transferable, your contract with the retailer certainly isn't and most manufacturer ones aren't either. Should say on your paperwork.

He can of course send it to you, and at a cost you would send it to the retailer / manufacturer. I wouldn't recommend giving him your invoice, can get messy if he incurs costs in your name.
