Question: ATI vs Nvidia card cost...

Yeah like clamp to lod, which removes some oh whats the word oh yeah shimmering on textures in some games. Nvidia has a good profile system where when i was on ati not long ago didnt have as good profile system. Nvidia has a 3d glasses setup thing too even for cheap red and cyan specs whereas i dont recall ati having this.

That is control panel you have a preference to then & not drivers.

Those red/cyan specs is considered a cool feature now?

The 'real' 3D isn't really a 'feature' same way physX isn't a 'real' feature either.

They won't catch on until they're widely supported.

For some one buying a graphics card, PhysX and 3D aren't two features you should mention to try to influence them.

I really hope you're just joking...

If that's NV's response to 5xxx (i.e. "Well we have 3d goggles and PhysX") then I'd rank it as one of the poorest comebacks ever!

red and cyan specs can be picked up for 99 pence.
I used to get them on cereal boxes.
TMUF came with red and cyan specs.

Yeah i mean control panel not drivers sry.

And dont know what the OP wants just saying my verdict on nvidia card i got recently. That's all.

Yeah for me NV's CP is just superior to CCC, used it a few times and just hated it. Each to to their own though eh!

Must admit another reason I prefer NV is for non-game stuff like demo-scene prods, they just tend work better on NV cards. Plus never had a single driver issue on a 2 year old XP install. Still using 180.48 in fact.
