If i use the linked bank account as the payment option is there any fee for this or any problems with payments pending?

I've always used the Paypal balance as it's free and instant.

Thanks

The only issue I have with PayPal is how long it takes for payments to come out of my linked account.

You can choose payment options between CC,your balance or bank account.I recently linked mine so i could top up my balance as they do charge you for friends and family/gift payments.

Nothing ever seems to be straight forward with Paypal as i've just found on their webpage that using the linked account is supposed to be free but people have said otherwise.

How do you put money in the balance?

It's no different, at least on a non business account.

I just linked my debit card. Job done. Never even thought about it. Only time I get a balance of I get a refund on something.

Make sure you select use card processing exchange rate, Paypals is gash.

I never top up my balance, I always just use my linked account/card which I've never paid a fee for.

afaik
linking it to your bank account there is no charge for paying for stuff, and happens instantly
linking it to your debit card, there is no charge but uses an echeque method which takes 7 days

This may be old information though

mine links to a debit card and it goes through right away like a link to the bank account.

Other way round. Taking it from a debit card is instant.
