Hey everyone!

I wanted to presend my brother with some money on his STEAM account for his birthday so I wanted to top up his STEAM Wallet - is that possible?
I know his user id but not his password so I can't log in on his behalf - can I still do that or would he need to top it up himself?
I got a 25 Euro paysafecard so I'd like to use that for it, but I couldn't find any option for that - any ideas?

Thanks a lot in advance!

You can't send any funds from your account to another but I do believe they may be working on a way to do it in the future much the same way as your trade items.

I'm not sure you could transfer money on his account if you're not logged in as him.
Do you know his password? He'd be very surprised if there was suddenly some money there. It's much more fun than just giving him a game he wants.

I was afraid so...
Thanks a lot!
I don't know what game he likes and which he already has so I can't buy a specific one ...

@fangbanger:
Yeah, that was the intention, but I guess I'll just have to give him the card instead and tell him it's for STEAM.
Will still be a nice surprise but I planned on saying I forgot his birthday and then ask whether he wanted to play something with me to make up for it and have him see his present, but well :)

Btw... if you present someone with a game - how does that work?
Does it disappear from your games and appear in his list or does he get an email or...?
Never did that before...

To be honest, I'd just nab him at some point and say "Oi, log into Steam for me here...".

Proceed to whip the card out and add the funds.

Look at his wishlist on his profile page, and pick a game he wants.

If you tell him you forgot and then try and surprise him with a steam game he will just think you bought him it on the day because you forgot.

Not if I do it right afterwards ;)
He knows me, he'll know I didn't forget but wanted to trick him and he'll like it - we're always like that.

But anyways, seems like I can't do that after all.
I'll just come up with some cool ways to give him his card - maybe hide it somewhere and only give him hints like a treasure hunt, we'll see :)
Might be even cooler in the end, hehe

His wishlist was empty when I looked, guess it still is.
I made a zombie-shaped card (he loves zombies ;D) and put the paysafecard in it - he loved it, yeah :D
Especially the zombie card, haha

But anyway - does someone know:
