Question on Boot Size of a VW Golf

Meant to say I had a Mk3 5 Door previously and was amazed at its ability to swallow whole items of Ikea bargain bin (pre assembled) furniture with ease, whole desks, chest of drawers etc, not at the same time though!

For Mtbs, I had two in the back but both with front wheels removed.

Have to take the front wheel off on both my Mark 5 and Mark 7 Golf.

Can't believe you're basing your car choice on avoiding a 15sec menial task! What do you do when you get a puncture? Buy a new bike?!

I've got a large estate but I still take off thefront wheel on my mtb just because it's much easier.

Buy a Transporter if you want to "chuck the bike in the back".
