Question on SLI?

I have a GTX260 at the moment in my machine its an ASUS one.

I'm thinking of a stop gap till middle of next year of buying another GTX260 to SLI them, now does it have to be exactly the same make to SLI? or as long as it's the same chipset (ie GTX260) it'll be ok?

doesnt matter about same make but it must be the same memory size, if you get one with faster clocks, it will clock down to match the slower one

It doesnt have to be the same brand. A 192 shader card will also work fine with the later 216 model.
