question picking nose hair

+1 for yes it hurts, but it makes me sneeze which is so satisfying :D

Can't stand when they get long and tickly or peek out. And trimming them leaves sharp ends that hurt when I blow my nose.

Nose hairs are attached to both your tear ducts and your sneeze triggers but they're incredibly satisfying to remove. I have one that has the consistency of a really thick whisker and it feels great when I pull that one out every few months.

First one is always super painful and then after that they don't hurt as much. Some of them are so long it feels like you're yanking on your brain as you pull it out. I do enjoy 'miring the thickness and length of some of them.
lol, I use tweezers, sometimes they are super long and curly, I think wtf how did that get so long. Yes some feel they are attached to my brain but the after pain is sooooo nice.

The job i'm in has a lot of black humour (well, not so much these days!)

Was on a training course with a few colleagues, none of us knew the instructor, but he had obviously been in the job many years. We got close up with the kit we were training on one day and the instructor says to mate, "**** me, if i pull one of those will i hear a bell ring?" I hadn't noticed but my mate had several hanging, extra long nose hairs, ewwwwww!

Instructor leans over, grabs a handful, tugs and shouts, "Ding! Ding! Ding!"

Really was a WTF moment, but then we started peeing ourselves :D

These days the instructor would be sacked and arrested for assault.

Military right?

Of course :)
Them were the days. Now it's "Excuse me Air Recruit, would you mind not watching youtube on your phone while I instruct?". I can only imagine other services are similar, maybe a bit behind the relatively soft RAF curve.

Thanks.... nasal dreadlocks!

Thread title needs to be renamed to nasal dreadlocks!!

Do not pull out your nose hairs!

Why do you think they exist? They form part of your bodies natural defences against pathogens. The mucus which clings to nose hair traps airborne pathogens..

If necessary, use a trimmer.
