Question re maintenance

System in sig has been working perfectly for the past six months. I'm starting to wonder if I should consider some maintenence or do I leave for now?

Water is Mayhems Ultra Pure H2O.
 
Maintenance I follow based on usage

Weekly: Check for leaks and water levels
Monthly: Dust out the rads with compressed air
6 Monthly: Check the fluid, Run the system for an hour and take a sample of the water checking for bits, dirt build up colour changes etc, I keep a syringe and 2 clean white bowles i put a drop of new fluid in one and system fluid in another

A lot of people also recommend yearly changes, I find this is dependant on usage and the fluid involved. I use pastel and my pc is in a darkened spare room and used on and off some weeks every day others not at all but I do check the fluid out though and would change as and when it looks filthy or theres a change in temperatures
 
To be honest if it looks clean then you can leave it for another 6 months, and then do a full maintenance
 
I changed the water in mine last week after 18 months. It was mayhems uv red. I found that dust on the rads was far more of a problem than crud in the mahems. Good stuff.
 
I went 2 years with out changing the coolant it was still as good as the day l filled the loop, with a slight top up.

As for leaks l just check monthly when l give my case dust filters a clean plus rads.

Its all about having confidence in your build, a leak can start any time.

So how often should you check Daily, weekly, monthly, not at all?

I surpose it depends how paranoid you are about having a leak.:p
