Question regarding Maxtor PowerMax utility

I asked in GD in another thread to no avail, so I thought I'd ask in the relevant place:
Does PowerMax work on SATA drives, as the webby doesn't mention that it does. I have a hard drive in a friends computer that needs testing, and it would be nice if the software I lug round there can actually diagnose the problem

Ive just today done the test, and yes it does do SATA drives, as i tested mine.

It will also test other brands (or at least identify them) but I didnt try.
