Question to the wise!

Basically the misses has lost the receipt to a camcorder she bought back in 2005, its from a well known electronic store I cant name for obvious reasons. Anyway, she dropped it down the stairs last weekend (god knows how..) and i'm wondering if I can do anything. She has been paying a monthly insurance on it since April 05 etc but cant find the actual proof of purchase.

Basically posting in hope that you guys can advise me, where I stand exactly? will they have purchase reference at the store? Assuming they'd be so helpful. Any ideas/comments? ta!

Both I assume. Shes living at home and her mother wouldnt take too kindly about house insurance.

Simple - if shes paid monthly insurance on it since then,all shes got to do is phone them up & give them her name & address, they should have that on record, they give her a policy no. & off to the repair place it goes. Chances are she may get a new one, as repair costs for Camcorders are frankly quite shocking.
