Question .. White coolent?

Quick question .. Getting a watercooling kit for crimbo but what's the best white coolent ? It's not all that clear what's white coolent ? Can you advise ?
 
Just a word of advise, I bought the mayhems pastel white, when I put it in my loop it was not like milk it actually appeared to be quite thin.

possibly because of flushing my rads out which may have diluted the coolant but I ended up putting some concentrate in.
 
He means electrically not thermally. A fresh opened bottle of mayhems is non conductive and will remain so long enough to make sure that the loop is leak proof if you don't mix it with anything. Given enough time, they all become conductive due to impurities.

I have had my rig on and stress testing for 3+ hours with a small puddle of Mayhems pastel red developing on the back of the GPU PCB due to a radiator leak which became more apparent after the water warmed up. If you use dye mixes, i would suggest leak testing without the dye unless it is stated to be non conductive and then adding it in later once everything is fine and dandy.

Do like the look of the white tubing but would I be right in assuming that you cannot see through such to spot air bubbles?
 
If you have psionic powers you can :-)
Or have a Superman for a friend - I hear teh guy can see thru walls.
Other than that I'm afraid you're right :D
