Hey all,
Recently reinstalled W7 on my SSD and went through the whole unattended.xml procedure to fool the User folder onto my D drive (HDD) instead of my SSD drive. The safest way imo as no tinkering with registry.
The only thing I'm thinking is, is all that hassle really worth it? My main reason for doing it was to more the AppData folder, as I know a lot of program write stuff to that folder, and I didn't like the idea of all that going on with the SSD. On the other hand, I do know that you can relocate every other folder by simply changing the location in the respective folders properties menu.
My question really is: Is it worth it, or am I being paranoid of how much writing that AppData folder does? What do you guys do?
