Questions about the matrix

im going to watch all three again. last time i saw them was 2004 ish. i have a few questions if anybody can answer them.

why are the agents after neo in the first one?

what the purpose of the machine world?

why do they keep attacking zion (the sentinals)?

will there be a 4th one?

Those questions are all answered by the trilogy.

I never understood why Neo could stop the sentinels outside the Matrix. It was never explained.
 
I think they are after Neo in the first one because purely he was the humans next 'target' (next one to be released)


The perpose of the machine world is because the machines are trying to take over ?
(i dont really get why you asked that, its pretty straight forward as is the next question)

And they only attack zion in the last movie because thats the first time i think, and they attack because they hate the humans ?
 
Watch them HD, nothing quite like watching the original Matrix at 1080P =]

I re-watched 1 last year but I think memory is still fresh it's because Neo's "night job" as computer hacker draws attention to the Agents so he's questioned by them at his workplace and especially because they're after Morpheus and believe he has contacted Neo (but they don't quite know that Neo is The One yet).

I don't think there ill be a 4th, it's a Trilogy afterall. There is a Matrix 4: ReEntered trailer knocking around but it looks fan made so nothing official.
 
the machine world is the real world aka the one we live in now burn taken over by machines who faem humans like batteries for power.

the matrix isnt real its the dream world where all the concious minds of the human batteries are the machines explained how they tried many different versions of the matrix and utopia didnt work because humans need pain and suffering. (think of the matrix as an mmo where your mind is trapped inside as the player)

they are after neo because they are after anyone morpheous thinks is the one who will set the human race free.

zion is the last free human city in the real world the machines want to destroy it obviously as its where morpheous and the others who know about the matrix are trying to set the human race free from.
 
T o the OP, why would you want these questions answered when you are going to watch the trilogy that will answer them for you isnt that the point of watching them?

because he was the chosen one and the chosen one can do anything, the matrix made its own rules as it went along lol

he brokerd a sort of deal for the survival of mankind, he destroyed smith before smith destroyed the machines and in return they spared zion.

I want to do the same!

I like how they worked in symbology for mythological creatures into the last one (werewolfs with the silver bullet things and the twins were obviously meant to be ghosts) and for religion too (Neo is Christ lol).

One important question that needs answerring though - why do they wear latex?

1. Many reasons, the Agents hunt down all free humans, also Neo is supposed to be The One, it's hard to imagine the machines don't know this.

2. The Machine World = The Real World, the machines took over and now are the superior power and keep humans as power supplies while living in The Matrix.
